Rosemary Connolly

As an experienced Solicitor with a career spanning more than 3 decades, I have significant experience in assisting parties to resolve disputes and bring matters to a satisfactory conclusion.

With my lengthy experience as an Employment Law Practitioner I have significant mediation experience since the vast majority of employment law disputes are brought to a conclusion prior to a Tribunal or other Court hearing.

I also bring to the role substantial additional experience as Legal Commissioner with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland, a member of the Senate of Queens University and, prior to that, a Commissioner on the Board of the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.

I was the first Chairperson of the Local Peace and Reconciliation Partnership set up to administer European funds.

I am currently President of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal in Northern Ireland and a member of the Appeal Committee of the Chartered Accountants of Ireland disciplinary body.

I have a practical focus and ability to apprise myself of the key facts of a situation quickly and engage with parties in a user-friendly resolution focused way.
